NPLS Pro Bono Attorney Robert Pandaleon Honored

On December 5, Robert Pandaleon was honored with the 2025 Northampton County Bar Association Pro Bono Award during the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas New Attorney Admission Ceremony.

Robert is recognized for his exemplary pro bono service during the 2025 fiscal year, in which he handled and resolved nine cases.

Since Robert started working with NPLS in 2005, he has handled 25% of all pro bono cases dealing with unemployment compensation in the Bethlehem office.

In unemployment compensation cases this past year, Robert obtained monthly financial benefits of $14,000 for six clients, amounting to about $80,000 for six months of benefits. Some of these clients were not receiving benefits until their administrative hearings, and were faced with dire financial impacts, including losing housing or being unable to afford basic necessities.

“Robert is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. He knows how to make clients feel comfortable, to explain the case to them and prepare them for the hearing.”  NPLS Executive Director Lori Molloy said. “We are so fortunate that he has so generously offered his services to those most in need.”

Scott Williams, one of the managing attorneys in NPLS’s Bethlehem Office put it simply, calling Robert a “lifesaver.”

NPLS congratulates Robert Pandaleon on this award and his commitment to pro bono service.
